Mommy's Girls

Both pictures above were taken before seeing Santa. Last year (left) and this year (right).
Look at what a difference a year makes.
I've lost 25 lbs.
Payton can feed herself, walk and talk.
Alexis goes on the big girl potty.
And most importantly - BOTH my girls have hair!!!

Here are a few more photos...

Elf on the Shelf

A packaged arrived today from Santa.
Elf on the Shelf

I cant wait to start a new family tradition!

Its Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas in the Maher Household

Decorating the tree with two little girls is quite the challenge..

Alexis would put up an ornament.

Then Payton would take it down.

Alexis would put the ornament back up.

Payton would take it back down!

Payton: "What did I do?"

At the end I'm not sure how many ornaments actually made it on the tree. When they went to bed I redecorated.. I hope they don't notice!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today and every day I am so thankful for such a wonderful family!

Go Bearcats!

Little Sister's Job

"I'm here to annoy my sister"

And a darn good job you do at it Payton! :)

Potty Trained!!!!

I so hesitate typing this sentence... Alexis is potty trained!!!

Alexis has not worn a diaper (except at bed time) for 6 straight days. She has only had one small accident. She even went on a small outing accident free.

Going on the potty was all her idea after she saw her cousin Elana go on the potty. Thanks Elana! You have something small on its way to your house now. But I'm sure we owe you something MUCH bigger here soon.

Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you Alexis! Keep up the good work!

The Evil Vacuum

This is what happens when Mommy tries to vacuum. Clearly I can only do it when Kevin is home. Both girls go running for him. Alexis freaks out the entire time. And then talks about how much she hates the yucky (what she calls the vacuum) for days after.

Mommy won the Fastest Vacuum-er Ever award!

Daddy wins two awards.. One for putting up with the girls going crazy in his lap, the Daddy of the Year award. And, one for rescuing the princesses from the evil vacuum by locking it in the closet, the Knight in Shining Armor award.

Happy Halloween!

My girls go together like Peanut Butter

and.. Jelly!

Yes, I made their costumes. My kids better get used to it! Store bought costumes are just outrageously priced and frankly not very original! ;)

The freezing cold wind and rain couldnt stop us! We packed up our wagon full of our 'little jelly' and of course a cooler full of beer! Precious cargo, as we like to call it.

Trick or Treat

A shout out to our main man 'Frank-n-tine', as Alexis calls her favorite part of the night (aside from getting candy of course)!
