They take turns crying!

This week we switched them to less bottles and more real food. So far so good. And Marshall got a tooth (perfect timing, right?!)

40 Weeks

Marshall

This week- He has a tooth starting to break through but not quite yet! Poor guy!

Lydia

This week- I like to throw little fits.

This week they had their 9 month doctor visit. And we started them on more solid food. Cut up food as apposed to mashed/puréed. So far so good.

They must have known the shots were coming!

Lydia

17lbs 4 oz
26.5 ins
6-9mo clothes
Size 4 diapers
Crawling (when she finds it necessary)
Very content to just play in one spot
Can sit up well
Can say "ma-ma" "ba-ba" and "da-da"
Always gets the toy she wants from Marshall. She's very patient and waits for the right opportunity.
Loves her tongue!
Has two bottom teeth.
She's so happy!

These two just couldn't be more opposite. Marshall has blonde hair and blue eyes; Lydia has brown hair and dark eyes.

Marshall can't possibly sit long enough to eat sometimes, even though meal time is definitely his favorite! He's constantly in motion.

Lydia has recently started throwing fits. I guess she decided that since 1. Marshall throws fits and gets his way and 2. The big girls decided to become teenagers already, she will too! It's cute though because it's the weakest fit I've ever seen. But she thinks she is telling me she is SO mad! After Alexis' tantrums she used to throw and Payton and Marshall with colic, baby girl you can't phase me!

They both have tried (and liked) cut up, cooked sweet potatoes and carrots, avocado, crackers, cottage cheese and Cheerios.

Yes, I said cottage cheese. We've been experimenting with regular formula and things containing milk to see how Marshall does. So far so good. So let's hope he doesn't actually have a full blown milk allergy. But time will still tell.

They've had their first Christmas and New Year.

They went on their first (real) play date.
